Octoberfest in Schenefeld
missycola @ 10:27 am Kategorie: Pix & WorkBut when Northern Germans try to celebrate a Bavarian party *smile*
then it looks like this here:
It is us three: Freddie, Anja and Hanna. Yeahhh - I’m not the smallest :o)
We had to squeeze our very well proportioned (*lol*) bodies in the very small and tight dresses. Especially Hanna had problems with breathing the whole day, because she had to wear the same size like us; Small (in German 36). And small was like xtra-small
As you can see in the background…an ugly shopping mall. During our party the shopping center was open, so our job was to talk to the crowd, sell tickets for the big Oktoberfest-Party the next night and distribute sweets (see on our Frisbees-candy!) and advertising leaflets of the shopping mall.
There was also a stage from Radio Schleswig Holstein (RSH) where a Bavarian band played some Bavarian music (terrible) and our radio presenter made games for the guests (especially children) with a wheel of fortune.
To bring it to the point - it was boring, because the people were boring.
They only wanted to have our give aways (as usual) but it was hard to sell the tickets, because the main actor on the stage at that party was HEINO (famous German folk music star). We didn’t meet enough Heino fans (just to say it nice =)).
Hanna was the best in selling the tickets for the party and after a while it was a competition who sold the next ticket =)
The catering of this event was good, so if we were bored again or we just talked to everybody in our work area then we went to our room, where we could take a break and eat/drink something.
This is me and a cow (you could milk the cow..but for what I didn’t know). Just posing for our marketing company and smiling to Maike (who took the photo).
Don’t look down to my shoes…I know…looks silly
But nobody told me that the dress is so short, I thought it will be long till the ground…and my promotion coordinator didn’t advise us shoes. But anyway, I guess you look somewhere else, aren’t you?
