missycola @ 2:06 am Kategorie: BloggingI don’t know if it was a fault to sign up for Technorati with my blog but since a few days my blog gets around 80 spam comments or trackbacks a day :annoyed: I activated the Spam Karma 2 plugin again (It was running before but then I switched it off because I thought I won’t really need it). Spam Karma filters or blocks a lot spam but then I made a mistake in the settings and all my comments got into the blacklist, the list that hosts the ignored entries. That meant that almost all comments of my blog dissapeared.
Then I installed Akismet (another WP plugin) as well and fortunately all my worries went away. After activating it, it showed all spam comments and also the ones that are there by mistake. I could click them each back into the approved comments, my luck!
But still, I don’t know what is wrong at the moment?!! I know that I am not the only one who reports tons of spam entries. I can just say: get off you damn dumb spammers you won’t get a single click if you act like this. Leave the private personal blogs alone!!!
