Rapunzel’s fairy tower
December 13, 2006 - ENGLISH & Visuelles - (2) COMMENTsRapunzel, lass Dein Haar hinunter! Rapunzel, open your hair!

I found the Rapunzel tower!!! Last Sunday on a farm in Gut Helmsdorf in East-Holstein and I flirted with a beauty
The reason for all that is that I worked on a Christmas event on that farm for my radio station where I do sales promotion. The event was called ‘Tannenbaumschlagen’ what means that employees of a company are invited for a Christmas party and in a nearby forrest (see photo) they can choose and cut their wanted Christmas tree. My collegues (the boys) did the tree packing with the net machine (see photo) and carried the trees to the cars of the guests. I checked and organized the guests list and managed the distribution of the right tree for the right person. The guests could also decide if they want the tree to be delivered (nice service and all for free). Easy going. Just a little bit cold, but our boss served us with hot cocoa
It was a cold but sunny with a bright blue sky. A beautiful day, very nice! Finally I got some fresh air after all these days of indoor work.
Did I mention that I love trees? ;o)

Here’s us, the Christmas tree dream team:

Poor Christmas tree…what a nonsense to cut it (dead) to put it in one’s living room for one or two weeks and to throw it away or burn it after…but I always liked to have one at home. This year we won’t have one, but Nathan organized some Christmas lights to make some Christmas mood in our new house
Then a lot of candles, good food, (chocolate), nice music and us and it’s perfect.
Don’t forget to vote for my new blog name. You know I cannot handle patience
