@Tom: schön dich hier zu lesen! Danke für den Tipp mit Joe. Nathan macht seinen phd in fine arts (contemporary arts ->philosophy of technology and communication). and der school for communication and contemporary arts. (das ist nun eins)

To be very honest, I got tears in my eyes when reading your stories and looking at the amazing pics! Ozzie is immense and beautiful. We had a great time there!

Anja, irgendwie kann ich nicht gerade sagen daß ich es mich überrascht. Ich habe es schon irgendwie geahnt. Lustig ist daß Simone und ich auch umziehen aber nur 2 Blocks weiter.
Ich kann auf jeden Fall nur sagen daß ich auf mindestens einen Kaffee bis dahin bestehe! 2-5 Sind auch OK vielleicht schaffe ich ja sogar noch unsere neue Wohnung vorzuführen!

Perth ist eine tolle Stadt, und ich möchte auch zurück nach Australien. Mein Plan ist erstmal 2009! Ich bin gespannt, von Dir zu lesen. ECU ist toll, herzlichen Glückwunsch! Worin macht Nathan denn seinen PhD?

Hast Du mal Prof. Joe Luca angeschrieben wegen Wohnungssuche etc? Er war immer sehr hilfsbereit damals.

I was just before reading some old email (from 2003) when Nick and I were still apart and look at us know, we get married in 9 months!
It’s so simple isnt it, you just have to believe and dreams really can come true….

@sabine: na, nun drängeln se doch net so. ich bin froh diesen monster post fertig bekommen zu haben. ein wenig dankbarkeit für das zeigen des sehr privaten bilderbuchs hätte ich schon erwartet. und überhaupt hätte ich wenigstens einen kleinen freudigen gefühlsausbruch von dir erwartet…oder bist du jetzt enttäuscht (dass ich dich nicht bereits schwanger zu unserer hochzeit eingeladen habe *g*)? nein, ich weiss es, da klingt ne menge skepsis durch deine zeilen…richtig?

wir haben ein studentenvisum für 3 jahre. nathan macht seinen doktor in perth und ich gehe als nathan’s lebensgefährtin (also als familienmitglied) mit runter. bevor ich arbeiten kann brauch ich noch ne arbeitserlaubnis, für mehr info dazu siehe update#1 im post oben.

we have a student visa for three years.
nathan is doing his PhD at ECU and i can go with him as his defacto spouse (family member). i need a work permit before i start working, for more info about that see update#1 in the post above.
