krrrrrrrrrrr the last minutes in the States
February 4, 2008 - ENGLISH & Goodbye Deutschland & Natey&Cola - (0) COMMENTs23:20: i just called my love, being already twenty minutes late, and without even ringing he was on the phone….but…something was weird…he talked and talked, in the background i could hear that he is at the airport…he didn’t stop talking and then i recognized that he spoke a message on his own voicemail…haha…he said…”my flight was delayed….i leave right now to fly to new jersey….blabla…if this is anja (*i love it how he actually says my (real) name, hehe*) who calls then you have to wait to call me until about midnight…for everybody else you can reach me at…blabla…eastern standard time…”
what a great idea to leave a message on your voicemail, thank you!
okay, another 30 minutes and i will call you again.
i am so nervous…hello girl? calm down, it is not you who flies…i know but still…

00:05: i called him and reached him still sitting in the plane. fatgrin.
ok then i watch some midnight news where they just talk about australia as good example…the mean plastic bag is the topic…strengthening the environmental awareness….talking about forbidding plastic bags like it is a topic in china and australia at the moment….
a comparison: americans use 300 plastic bags per year, germans only 65 per year.

00:26: peterzahlt.de muss wieder herhalten…i used the german free call service “peterzahlt.de” to call again…
00:29: “talk in a couple days….ly…smooch smooch” and so on *g* were the last words and sniff sniff the last german-american phone call happened. he could not talk longer because he needed to get his flight ticket, which he didn’t get at the bangor airport, and in this moment he just reached the ticket counter with me on his ear.
