Backen bei knapp 40 Grad Hitze, was ein Spass

Mar 2, 2009 ~ filed under: Delicious & Deutsch & English & Visuelles ~ 2 comments »

Although we are in the middle of the summer’s heat, I cannot stop my baking activities. I am baking more often lately, so that my <3 man doesn’t need to buy nasty sweets at local supermarkets.

Here you see my famous chocolate baking tin cake; this time baked in the round silicon Tupperware form (don’t know the name in English). It worked fine. The receipt can be found here (in German). If you are interested I would translate it into English. Let me know in the comments below.

Since yesterday we are enjoying this chocolate cake, which is gluten-free even.

Nathan said this one is his favourite from now on. Even better than the other one above. I like the one above a bit better (more moisture). But they are both very easy to make and very delicious.

How is it with publishing recipes from a cookbook? Am I allowed to do this or does the author has the copyright, even maybe without having created the receipt, because many hobby cooks tend to have copied and collected it from another sources anyway, am I right?

Both of these cakes look yummy! I’m surprised Nathan eats cake – he was never much for sweets. You must be a very good baker! ;)

As for publishing recipes – it’s my understanding that as long as you say where you got the recipe, you’re all set. :)

I envy your hot weather – I’m at home expecting 2 feet of snow!!! And we just got 2 feet last Monday!

Lots of love to you & Nate,

Hannah :*

Nathan was never much for sweets?? I guess I turned him over with my cravings. Now he is the one who needs his “cookies and milk” every night! He sometimes even drives to the 24 hour store, to get sweets.

My dad started loving (almost craving) eating chocolate and cakes about two years ago…hmm that was about the time when I started with regularly baking…

Our neighbour (who also gets cake and cookies occasionally) suggested me for working in a bakery, haha.
