Welcome the the Cola Blog Planet. I am a wanna be twen with name missycola and am blogging since 2005, when I had a long-distance relationship (I’m talking more than 5000km with a lot of ocean in between) and used this blog as online diary exchange. Cola is the nickname I received while living in down under 2004. It has nothing to do with the (disgusting) soft drink; but rather with my delightful real name, Anja. (I never liked my name, but apparently my name is very much liked everywhere outside of Germany. Oh yes, that’s where I’m from originally)
Planet Cola is also my playground for working with WordPress, trying out new designs, diving into the knowledge of xhtml, css, and php programming while playing with new plugins and features to enhance the blog experience for my readers.
missycola is currently blogging from Western Australia A-m-e-r-i-c-a! To be precise; from Maine. Beware, you might get confused of her bilingual post entries, because she can never decide, which language to use – it is all about the audience, isn’t it? And the audience is global and diverse. Posts are often marked EN for English or DE for German and there are special categories for all German and all English posts, so please click into those; if you prefer only one or the other. Since most people understand English it is the language you will read here the most.
However, there are often too many things happening at once and only the very few moments make it from her memory into this weblog. C’est la vie, cherie. But I’m working on it. Good intentions are her daily dime. Life is short, let’s make the best of it. Sending out much digital <3!

History
2005 – Blogger Blog mit dem Namen Missy Cola eroeffnet – started blogging as missycola over at blogspot.com
2006 – eigene Domain bei all-inkl.com, Blog als Unterseite integriert, hier beginnen erste Spielereien mit WordPress – started my own domain blog with all-inkl.com and installed WordPress the first time
2007 – planetcola.com als neue und alleinige Blog Domain – moved blog to new domain: planetcola.com as my new blog universe
2010 – erstmaliger Serverumzug von all-inkl.com zu godaddy.com (toi toi toi) – moved web servers to godaddy.com
2012 – domainregistrierung nun bei namecheap.com und neuer webhoster wird gesucht – moved domain registration to namecheap and am looking for new webhoster (as godaddy causes problems)

Design
I started my blog with the theme ‘Benevolence’ by T.Parlin. A lot of code and design changes let it became more and more my individual Cola-Theme, which I called “lucynoosa”. In 2010 I decided to use the free theme “K2″, which I modified to my needs. Later in 2010 I modified my old “lucynoosa”-theme (again), which I still prefer to use. I like to play with code so you will see a lot of design modifications here.
