Thanks Kille! Nice to see you’re still reading here. Utf-8 is running already. Maybe the export and import of the database screwed the umlauts up? I’m not sure if my former database was Uft-8 though…but should have been…hmm.

Bzgl. Umlaute: Vielleicht hilft ein Blick auf die encodierung (Collation) der DB. Ich empfehle utf8_unicode.
